Job summary

A leading industrial solutions provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth in industrial valves within sectors such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and power generation. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of technical sales experience, an engineering background, and strong communication skills to effectively manage client relationships. This role involves generating proposals, providing technical support, and ensuring client satisfaction to improve revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years technical sales experience in valves.
  • Understanding of API oil and gas industry specifications.
  • Experience with proposals for EPCs.

To generate and create profitable sales from existing and new customers, and to provide support to external sales and clients. involves selling industrial valves and related products to clients in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, water treatment, and power generation.

Responsibilities
  • Technical sales experience in API 6A, API 6D, API 593,....
  • Manage and expand customer base in order to promote sustained sales growth to achieve company sales objectives
  • A dynamic professional Sales Engineer with a diverse background in sales, proposals, project management, operations, and planning, bring a unique blend of skills and experiences
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients / customers and negotiate win-win outcomes consistently shall lead to increase revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Generate professional (Commercial and Technical) proposals for Project Tenders including the assimilation of costs, technical compliance and assessment of margins
  • Understand the client’s business to determine requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Liaise with clients, providing technical assistance and support, regarding technical specifications of products, and troubleshoot applications as needed,
  • Engage, communicate and build relationships with manufacturers to support proposals
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years technical sales experience – with valves
