Job summary

A leading global elevator and escalator company is seeking an energetic Sales Engineer for its Modernization business based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Modernization Sales and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Modernization Sales are considered a strategic priority for our Business to complement our growth plans. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Engineer for our Modernization business to be based in our Dubai, UAE office.

This role will lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and customers that are strategic or nationally / locally important. You will proactively generate opportunities from outside the current customer base, identify solutions, and develop processes that add value to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively hunt for new opportunities, develop and create customer relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and solve complaints with the rest of the KONE team
  • Document and maintain the customer and contact information
  • Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets including proactively generating opportunities from outside the current customer base
  • Accountable for finding customer needs and KONE’s solution matching those needs
  • Responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools
  • Maintain full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits, while keeping CRM up to date
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in any related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Modernization Sales
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service
  • Ability to interpret and analyze customer needs
  • Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus
  • Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • UAE experience is a must
