Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai. As a Safety Officer at Stantec, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees, clients, and the general public on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks, Water distribution networks, Pumping Station, and Recycling Plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall site safety health and environment management.
  • Prepare site safety plan & procedures and implement safety policy.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and site safety audit; report to management.
  • Health and safety supervisors conduct safety training and other necessary training as fit by the management.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and document them for reference.
  • Consult with workers and management on the best approach to deliver a safe working environment for all workers.
  • Conduct risk assessment program for the site work activities.
  • Conduct audit for the site, contractor and sub-contractor; raise NCR, accident, and incident report.
Client Service Management
  • Internal and external client liaison.
  • Build and maintain safety environment at site.
  • Experience in infra project HSE supervision management.

Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.

Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.

Maintain the health and safety environment at workplace.
