Job Opportunity: Reservations Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our enthusiastic team as a Reservations Supervisor.

In this role, you will ensure the reservations team achieves or exceeds monthly sales targets, and that our guests enjoy exceptional customer service and memorable experiences. Key responsibilities include:

1. Act as the main resource for reservation agents needing assistance technically or with customer satisfaction.
2. Ensure the reservation department and Front Office team are aware of availability, request status, closed dates, and high demand periods.
3. Respond promptly, courteously, and accurately to all guest reservation requests.
4. Be fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, facilities, and services.
5. Maintain department-approved quality assurance programs, including rates, deposits, descriptions, activity tables, and reservation letters.
6. Manage reservations to maximize room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling and recommendations from revenue management systems.
7. Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, assign duties, and expedite workflow for reservation agents.
8. Manage all aspects of the reservation department in the absence of the revenue & reservation manager.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role within a 5-star city hotel in Dubai. They should have strong technical skills related to revenue management, be detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good inter-departmental relations, teamwork, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and adaptability are essential.
