Responsibilities
  • Manage guest bookings and inquiries to deliver a seamless and personalized experience, optimizing occupancy and revenue.
  • Serve as a primary contact for guests, utilizing market trends to maximize revenue and ensure a professional booking experience.
  • Handle inquiries via telephone, email, and fax promptly and courteously.
  • Process reservations using the property management system, maintaining detailed records and guest preferences.
  • Apply seasonal and historical trends to support occupancy and rate strategies.
  • Upsell and leverage rate strategies to maximize revenue with tailored room options.
  • Provide quotations and confirmations with clear communication.
  • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate with the Sales team.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, policies, and facilities to assist guests confidently.
  • Ensure bookings are secured correctly and charges for no-shows or cancellations are processed appropriately.
  • Support guest requests and modifications from inquiry to arrival.
  • Collaborate with Revenue, Sales, and Front Office teams for accuracy in bookings.
  • Apply customer service skills and attention to detail consistently.
  • Maintain reservation records and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of reservations or front office experience in a luxury or high-end hotel.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis) and understanding of booking procedures.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with administrative and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a luxury environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and dedication to customer service excellence.
  • Commercial awareness with knowledge of revenue strategies.
