Overview

We are seeking a professional and proactive Receptionist / Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors at VRAcademi. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the front office, support administrative functions, and provide assistance to the accounts, HR, and sales teams. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring seamless student and office support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open VRAcademi and follow lab opening protocols to make it functional for classes.
  • Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages related to student support and course inquiries; route to the sales team as required.
  • Maintain an updated contact database of visitors and inquiries.
  • Ensure a neat, welcoming, and professional environment in the lab.
  • Organize and prepare VR accessories (charging, sanitizing headsets/controllers) before and after every class.
  • Ensure all systems, lights, and ACs are switched off at closing.
Financial & Accounts Support
  • Manage petty cash and maintain expense records.
  • Assist accounts and sales teams with fee tracking, invoicing, and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly administrative expense reports.
Office & Administrative Tasks
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and inventory.
  • Maintain physical and digital filing systems for records, invoices, and receipts.
  • Support HR functions such as attendance and leave record management.
  • Maintain and track student classes and attendance on Classcard.
  • Provide support to students during VR & immersive experiences.
  • Troubleshoot basic lab devices and VR equipment issues.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Prior experience in front office, administration, or office assistant roles is an advantage.
