Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Radiation Oncologist, preferably in a multidisciplinary cancer center.
• Fluency in Arabic or French is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Valid medical license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose cancer patients to determine appropriate radiation therapy treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using imaging modalities such as CT, MRI and PET scans.
• Administer and oversee various radiation therapy techniques ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Explain treatment options and potential side effects to patients and their families.

Skills

Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques (IMRT, VMAT, SRS, brachytherapy)

Knowledge of radiobiology, dosimetry, and radiation safety principles

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic or French

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Education

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) specializing in Radiation Oncology
