Quantity Surveyor Job Location Dubai United Arab Emirates Job description Assist the project manager with all matters relating to estimating and bid pricing Preparing technical submittals for tender requests Obtain the cost for materials subcontractor costs and evaluate their quotations Correspond with subcontractors and suppliers for the collection of quotes Inspection of proposed projects enable more accurate estimation Complies comprehensive documentation to support tender estimates Preparation of BOQ for new tenders Read and interpret plans Maintain estimation records for future tender and cost evaluations Working as part of a team to deliver required results Analyze drawings prepare BOQ with specifications ensure all aspects of the project have been included Coordinating with the client for the approval of the submitted additional works and variations Requirements Must have over 35 years experience and knowledge of interiors fitout exhibitions products and suppliers prices Ability to estimate product breakdown and pricing Prior experience in using estimation software tools Effective communication fluent English is required written and spoken Previous experience in negotiation in terms or pricing strategies Interpersonal and team working skills Extensive experience in the joinery and fit out industry is a must
