Job summary

A leading hotel group is seeking a qualified individual in Ras Al Khaimah for a full-time role focusing on food safety and quality management. Responsibilities include conducting audits, compliance monitoring, and providing training related to quality and sustainability management. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel setting in the UAE. This position does not offer remote work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in 4 or 5-star hotels in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of quality management and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and report quality & food safety controls of the hotel.
  • Implement compliance monitoring according to quality management standards.
  • Attend cross-internal audits and conduct supplier audits.
  • Carry out laboratory sampling, analysis, and reporting results.
  • Provide training related to quality management and food safety.

Job description
  • Responsible for conducting and reporting quality & food safety controls of the hotel.
  • Responsible for adapting to and implementing monitoring and reporting the compliance of the hotel according to Rixos Hotels UAE quality management standards & hotels quality food safety and sustainability management certifications ( ISO 9001 ISO 10002 ISO 14001 TS EN 15288:2 ISO 22000 GSTC IBCCES CAC ) and local food safety laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for attending the Rixos Hotels UAE cross-internal audits.
  • Responsible for conducting and reporting the supplier audits.
  • Responsible for conducting the laboratory sampling analyzing and reporting the results.
  • Responsible for carrying out and recording trainings related with quality management food safety and sustainability.
  • Responsible for completing the other assigned duties by Quality & Sustainability department management.
  • Will report to hotels Quality & Sustainability Manager.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Food Engineering Food Technology Biotechnology Microbiology or related expertise.
  • At least 2 years experience in 4/ 5 stars hotels based in the UAE.
