Main Duties and Responsibilities
- 1.1.1 Keeps the Quality & Sustainability Manager informed of all Health & Safety related matters.
- 1.1.2 Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with health and safety
- 1.1.3 Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials
- 1.1.4 Proper grooming at all times
- 1.1.5 Attend training classes as per schedule
- 1.1.6 Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
- 1.1.7 Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
- 1.1.8 Carries out inspections of workplaces and takes appropriate action to ensure compliance.
- 1.1.9 Responds to and investigates concerns and complaints from workers/employers and takes appropriate action.
- 1.1.10 Investigates accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.
- 1.1.11 Responsible for the establishment of and monitors the performance of workplace safety and health committees.
- 1.1.12 May participate in the delivery of related educational programs and disseminates information to the public.
- 1.1.13 Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the Resorts emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
- 1.1.14 In case of high hazard area identified close the facility area/work and report to HOD GM and Security.
- 1.1.15 Reviews Duty Manager/Night Manager book daily and takes corrective action when it is concerned.
- 1.1.16 Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility
- 1.1.17 Keeps updating the emergency manual with appropriate procedures and forms with the consultation of Quality & Sustainability Manager.
- 1.1.18 To train existing employees and new comers on a regular basis with live fire drills.
- 1.1.19 Conducts and executes skills/technical training within his/her area of responsibility on regular basis.
General / Miscellaneous
- 1.1.20 Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the hotels emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
- 1.1.21 Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
- 1.1.22 Other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL
- 1.1.23 Assist in Task Force Teams for new openings.
- 1.1.24 Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested.

Qualifications
University Degree in related field. Minimum 2 years in a similar role with a five star hotel preferably in the UAE. Team management skills computer skills and excellent communication skills. NEBOSH IGC certified. Has a qualification of Abudhabi Health & Safety practitioners course ADVETI. Has a qualification of ISO 45001:2018 internal auditor. Can hold IOSH TECH membership. Has an upto date first aid training 08 hrs inclduing CPR)
