Job summary

A leading construction consultancy firm is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Controller to ensure that all construction activities meet required quality standards in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in high-rise and residential projects, along with strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures. Responsibilities include implementing quality control plans, conducting site inspections, and collaborating with project teams to achieve quality objectives. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Controller/Engineer in high-rise and residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and industry standards.
• UAE/GCC experience and a valid UAE driving license preferred.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller to ensure that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-rise and residential projects and a strong understanding of quality assurance processes in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection checklists for high-rise and residential projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with site teams and subcontractors.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements and work procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, inspection reports and test results.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, consultants and client representatives to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with local construction codes, health and safety regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Controller/Engineer in high-rise and residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction materials and industry standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
