Job summary

A leading global inspection and certification company is seeking a qualified individual to organize and execute inspection jobs in the Oil and Gas construction sector. You will be responsible for performing various inspections, issuing quality records, and ensuring compliance with established standards. Applicants must hold a diploma in engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Additional certifications such as CSWIP or AWS are required.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas construction sector.
• Familiarity with engineering standards for QC surveillance offshore.
• Experience in Construction / Vendor site inspection.

Job Description

Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Executethe specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction / installation activities on site.
• Issuethe relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writeand sendto QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
• Checkpower transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, Remote terminal unit, instruments, cables, tunings etc.
• Performvisual inspections, dimensional test, checkrating and material for connection.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 + years of relevant experiencein Oil and Gas construction sector.
• Must Have CSWIP / AWS & BGAS / NACE
• Familiar with applicable engineering standards and codes that will be used during QC surveillance activities offshore projects
• Should have experience in Construction / Vendor site inspection
