Job summary

A well-established FMCG food manufacturing business in Dubai is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance and Food Safety systems. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in QA/QC in FMCG environments, strong knowledge of relevant standards, and excellent leadership and analytical skills. Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in QA/QC within FMCG or high-risk food manufacturing.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in a QA Manager role.
  • Experience handling regulatory inspections and audits.

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance and Food Safety systems within the production facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and customer standards, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a strong quality culture across the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO, FSSC).
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international standards.
  • Develop, implement, and update quality policies, SOPs, and documentation.
  • Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring daily inspections and product release procedures are followed.
  • Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
  • Prepare for and manage internal and external audits.
  • Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse quality data and lead cross-functional improvements.
  • Act as primary contact for customer complaints and quality queries.
  • Collaborate with Production, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in QA/QC within FMCG or high-risk food manufacturing.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in a QA Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, and ISO/FSSC 22000.
  • Experience handling regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Dubai/GCC experience is preferred.
