Job summary

A leading EPC contractor is looking for a QC Inspector (Painting & Coating) in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, and must hold NACE Level II or equivalent certifications. This is a full-time position involving quality control activities on significant projects with an expat package.

Qualifications

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for QC Inspector (Painting & Coating) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship, and testing requirements related to Coating & Painting works.
• Performs verification inspection of work elements related to E&I works to assure compliance with established procedures and Projects specified requirements.
• Participates in on-site receiving Inspection of Coating & Painting materials.
• Prepare review of concrete specification mix design and ITPs.
• Coating & Painting Testing Standards Onshore & Offshore Construction (O&G) Inspections

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized/reputed University.
• Minimum 5 yrs. of experience as Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry
• Familiar with Shell DEPs and international codes & standards
• NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2
• Fluency in English
• Previous experience working with ADNOC project.
• Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office

• Has excellent organizational skills
