Job description
Responsibilities
  • Identify and source suppliers for materials such as wood veneers laminates hardware finishes lighting furniture and MEP-related items.
  • Request quotations evaluate bids and negotiate pricing payment terms and delivery schedules.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) in line with project requirements and budget.
  • Coordinate with the design estimation and production teams to verify material specifications and quantities.
  • Monitor and track order deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials at site or factory.
  • Maintain and update the procurement database vendor list and material logs.
  • Ensure all procured items comply with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly and recommend improvements or alternatives as needed.
  • Resolve issues related to delays shortages or non-conforming materials.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends pricing and new product innovations relevant to fit-out and joinery works.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Engineering or related field.
  • 35 years of procurement experience in the interior fit-out or joinery industry (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials joinery components and local/global suppliers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and procurement/ERP software.
  • Detail-oriented organized and capable of handling multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
