Job Brief: We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for a cement manufacturing environment. The role involves handling RFQs, vendor evaluation, imports, logistics coordination, ERP documentation, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services. Candidates with prior experience in the cement or heavy manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Responsibilities
  1. Procurement and RFQ Management
    • Process RFQs from vendors.
    • Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  2. Comparative Analysis (CS)
    • Prepare Comparative Statements (CS) to analyze vendor quotations and recommend suitable suppliers.
    • Ensure transparent, compliant, and efficient vendor selection processes.
  3. Imports and Logistics
    • Manage the procurement of imported goods, including coordination of shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
    • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  4. ERP and Documentation
    • Utilize ERP systems for procurement processing and inventory management.
    • Maintain accurate and well-organized records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and supplier agreements.
  5. Vendor and Delivery Follow-Up
    • Ensure on-time delivery of materials and services through regular follow-up with vendors.
    • Address and resolve issues related to delays, quality concerns, shortages, or discrepancies in orders.
  6. Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, vendor performance, and purchasing efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost control.
Job Requirements
  • 5–6 years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Experience in the cement industry is preferred.
