We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects in Dubai, UAE. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, an excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through execution and final handover, ensuring completion within approved budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and drive execution strategies aligned with project objectives, milestones, and contractual requirements.
- Develop detailed project schedules by breaking down the scope into work packages and activities, in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Formulate mobilization plans covering manpower, materials, equipment, machinery, site offices, and storage facilities.
- Prepare and maintain the project organization structure, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines.
- Allocate tasks based on priorities and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Coordinate with the commercial department for tendering activities, including floating inquiries, BOQ estimation, proposal preparation, tender evaluation, and subcontractor selection.
- Plan and prioritize procurement activities to ensure optimal budget utilization and timely availability of materials, equipment, and machinery.
- Prepare material and equipment priority lists aligned with the construction sequence and required quantities.
- Plan safe and efficient storage of materials in compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor material receipt, usage, and daily store reporting to ensure effective control and accountability.
- Oversee equipment and machinery requirements, including quantities, deployment, servicing, and documentation.
- Provide guidance on the preparation of service manuals for major equipment and machinery.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans throughout project execution.
- Promote a strong safety culture on site and ensure adherence to statutory and contractual requirements.
Preferred Candidate
- Must be an Arabic national
- Must be fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage
- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience
- A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or any related field.
- MOFA attestation is required
- Valid Dubai Municipality license
- Valid Society of Engineers (UAE) license
- Has DM Certification and Project and DM Portfolio
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully completed projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience in contract management.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications, such as PMP or equivalent, are preferred.
