About the Role

Project Manager – Residential Construction (Developer Side)

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with a strong background in construction project delivery who is now ready to transition from the contractor side to the developer/real estate side. This role requires someone who understands how buildings are executed on-site and can now manage projects end-to-end as the client’s representative — from design coordination and procurement through construction, handover, and commercial alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and drive the delivery of residential and mixed-use construction projects from design to handover
• Act as the client’s representative managing contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Monitor project cost, quality, schedule, and safety performance; implement corrective actions where needed
• Coordinate and chair project meetings, report progress to senior management
• Oversee design-development, value engineering, and technical reviews with consultants
• Manage procurement strategies, contract administration, and variation/change control
• Liaise with authorities for permits, approvals, and completion certificates
• Ensure project outcomes align with the company’s business objectives (budget, timeline, product positioning)
• Facilitate smooth transition from construction to operations/handover to asset management teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (required)
• 10-15 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a project management capacity
• Strong background in delivering residential or mixed-use projects (high-rise or large villa communities)
• Experience on the contractor side is acceptable, provided the candidate demonstrates readiness to move to the developer side
• Solid understanding of project planning, budgeting, contracts, and procurement
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with local regulations, authority approvals, and handover processes
• Fluent in English
