Job summary

A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Product Specialist to execute brand strategies and ensure sales performance in Dubai. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies and three years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in biotechnology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate fluency in both English and Arabic while possessing excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, achieving KPIs, and adapting to market challenges.

Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as a Product Specialist in a multinational pharmaceutical environment.
  • Relevant industry experience, ideally in biotechnology and/or pharmaceuticals, preferably neuroscience.
  • Great sense of ethics, integrity, and teamwork capabilities.

Purpose

Execute brand strategy and tactics in field sales performance, effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and customer needs‑solving capability to maximize short‑term and long‑term sales performance, placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales performance and brand KPIs, meeting or exceeding financial targets and marketing objectives.
  • Create a pre‑call plan using SMART objectives and execute post‑call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance.
  • Effectively handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently gaining logical and reasonable calls to action to close every sales call.
  • Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win‑win agreements between AbbVie and customers.
  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency for key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
  • Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, account disease product clinical and sales expertise, and share market intelligence with the in‑field team, brand team, and sales manager to align and anticipate environmental changes and challenges, optimizing brand strategy.
  • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers, identify, develop, and maintain disease‑state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
