Company: Identiscents

Industries: Fragrance and Packaging (Perfume & Cosmetics Industry)

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Type: Full-Time

About Us

At Identiscents, a well-established French-founded business, we focus on sourcing, distributing, and customizing packaging solutions and fine fragrances for the perfumery, beauty, personal care, and home care industries. With almost three decades of experience, we have delivered more than 1,000 global brands. Our team of experts, dedication to fostering strong partnerships with suppliers allows us to stay flexible, sustainable, and responsive to the changing market landscape.

Our procurement ecosystem is the strategic backbone of the Maison — where partnerships are built, quality is safeguarded at the source, and innovation is channeled from Europe, Asia, and the GCC into our clients’ hands.

To strengthen this foundation, we are seeking a Procurement Manager with a strong grounding in quality control and supplier assurance — someone capable of both designing sourcing architecture and ensuring that every component meets the Maison’s high standards.

ROLE ESSENCE

We are looking for a discerning, structured, and business-savvy Procurement Manager — a Builder of Partnerships and a Custodian of Supplier Quality.

This person anchors the flow between suppliers, operations, quality teams, and internal stakeholders. They stabilise procurement rhythms, reduce friction in sourcing channels, and safeguard the Maison’s commitment to sustainable, compliant, and high-performing materials.

As the architect of procurement frameworks, they translate commercial needs into resilient supply pathways. As the guardian of upstream quality, they ensure every supplier, decorator, and manufacturing partner aligns with our standards — technically, ethically, and operationally.

They operate through collaboration, not hierarchy — embodying the Maison’s circular structure and elevating the relationship between procurement, quality, and operations.

ROLE PURPOSE (ARCHITECT AND GUARDIAN)
ARCHITECT DYNAMIC

Designing the procurement structure, sourcing strategy, and supplier-quality architecture of the Maison.

You will:

  • Build and refine procurement frameworks for primary packaging, decorated components, and raw materials.
  • Develop multi-country sourcing strategies across Europe, Asia, and GCC markets.
  • Architect supplier qualification processes, integrating QC, sustainability, ISO, and Ecovadis expectations.
  • Establish supplier scorecards, performance dashboards, and improvement programs.
  • Create cost models, contract structures, and negotiation channels that balance value, quality, and timeline.
  • Structure communication pathways that maintain transparency with Sales, Operations, QC, and Logistics.
  • Build procurement SOPs, compliance guidelines, and documentation flows that strengthen resilience and scalability.
  • Introduce procurement-improvement models supported by market intelligence and internal data insights.
GUARDIAN DYNAMIC

Executing sourcing operations, stabilising supply flow, and protecting the Maison’s quality and compliance integrity.

As the Guardian, you anchor the day-to-day movement of procurement while upholding upstream quality, supplier accountability, and the Maison’s promise of excellence. You operate with vigilance, precision, and relational intelligence — ensuring that every material, every partner, and every decision reinforces reliability and resilience.

You will:

  • Manage daily procurement cycles with precision — RFQs, POs, supplier confirmations, pricing updates, and lead-time monitoring.
  • Maintain a clear, live procurement pipeline that aligns with sales forecasts and warehouse inventory.
  • Monitor global market shifts (pricing, materials, freight) and adjust procurement strategies proactively.
  • Ensure SAP procurement data is accurate, timely, and fully synchronised with operations and accounting.
  • Collaborate closely with the QC team to ensure defect patterns, NCRs, and quality trends directly inform supplier decisions.
  • Evaluate samples, artwork, colour matching, finishing details, and tolerances to ensure every component meets the Maison’s standards.
  • Support decoration and production partners in validating approvals and maintaining accuracy in execution.
FOUNDATION EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Supplier Quality roles
  • Experience in multi-SKU, fast-moving, high-precision production environments
  • Proven experience managing procurement operations within luxury goods, fragrances, cosmetics, packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing.
  • Strong foundation in quality control, including defect classification, NCR processes, and supplier-quality evaluation.
  • Skilled negotiator with experience managing global suppliers (Europe/Asia/GCC).
  • Deep understanding of packaging materials such as glass, aluminum, polymers, pumps, and decorated components.
  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and evaluate manufacturing tolerances (a strong advantage).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields

At Identiscents, you will not only shape our sourcing architecture — you will reinforce the quality, reliability, and partnerships that define our Maison’s next era of growth.

If you recognise yourself in this dual identity — Architect and Guardian — we would be delighted to explore this journey with you.
