Overview

Taaheed have partnered with an Abu Dhabi based investment fund to assist with the identification and recruitment of exceptional talent. Based in one of Abu Dhabi's most visually impressive properties, they need the very best people to manage and maintain the high standards of hospitality expected. With this in mind, there is now the need to recruit a Premises Engineer who will be responsible for the overall technical upkeep of the property.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager of General Services, this role will be accountable for the supervision and coordination of the provision of a diverse range of FM services, ensuring that the fund has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities. The scope of this will include the planning, organization and direction of facility maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, security, health and safety, repair and physical operation, cleaning/hygiene, space management, utilities and communications infrastructure.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will hold a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering coupled with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience operating in a senior role within a prestigious modern commercial property. The successful candidate will have spent the past five years working in the UAE, with preference given for candidates currently holding a similar role within a luxury hotel and spa. It is desirable that you hold a professional membership, e.g. IFMA, BIFM, FMAA etc.
