We are seeking a highly skilled
Pre-Sales Techno Commercial Consultant with strong expertise in
Data Engineering, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), Prototyping, and
management consulting. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with strategic business acumen, enabling effective engagement with clients, driving solution design, and supporting sales efforts for complex data and AI projects.
Requirements
- Pre-Sales Engagement:
- Partner with sales teams to understand client challenges, business goals, and technical requirements
- Lead discovery and solutioning workshops with clients, leveraging management consulting best practices
- Design tailored solutions around data pipelines, ML workflows, and deployment strategies
- Solution Prototyping:
- Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate solution feasibility and business value
- Utilize prototyping tools and cloud services to showcase capabilities dynamically
- Technical Presentations & Demos:
- Conduct compelling demos and technical presentations that resonate with both technical and executive audiences
- Prepare reusable assets for repeated use in sales cycles
- Proposal & Documentation:
- Draft detailed technical proposals, solution architectures, and commercial models
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, finance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment
- MLOps and Data Infrastructure Advisory:
- Provide expert guidance on data engineering, model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML models, monitoring, and retraining
- Recommend best-in-class tools and platforms such as Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow, and cloud services
- Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives and technical teams
- Leverage management consulting experience to drive strategic discussions and influence decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of combined experience in management consulting and pre-sales/solution engineering, preferably in data/ML domains
- Strong expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and prototyping
- Hands-on experience with:
- MLOps frameworks and tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC, etc
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Data pipeline orchestration: Airflow, Kafka, Spark, etc
- DevOps/MLOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Proven track record of managing commercial and technical aspects of complex sales cycles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B SaaS or consulting engagements focused on data and AI
- Industry-specific exposure in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or similar sectors
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure Data Engineer, or PMP
