A leading technology company seeks a Pre-sales Engineer in Abu Dhabi to drive growth for its Oil & Gas Team. The role involves validating design assumptions, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and supporting technical and commercial proposals. The Pre-sales Engineer is a key role directly reporting to the Pre-sales Manager. It will be a part of a growing team and will be responsible for driving the growth of business for Oil & Gas Team. As a Pre-sales Engineer, you will be working closely with the Sales team for technical and commercial proposals. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation for the most optimized solution.
You will be responsible for validating assumptions made during solution design, estimates, and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. You will be also responsible for providing technical risk analysis for the complete solution. You will be part of transition meetings with Operations team to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline and customer requirements are taken care in proper manner.
As a Pre-sales Engineer you may need to perform on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design review. You will be also focused on developing multiple components. You will be using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors).
