Job summary

A leading manufacturer of safety equipment in Dubai is seeking a Costing & Estimation Officer to produce accurate costings and quotations for personal protective equipment (PPE). In this role, you will analyze design specifications, collaborate with procurement, and support cost reduction initiatives. Ideal candidates should have a background in engineering or business, along with 2+ years of experience in costing within safety equipment manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in costing, estimation or commercial roles within PPE safety equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and regulatory specifications.
• Understanding of procurement and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimations and quotations for PPE.
• Collaborate with procurement for up-to-date material prices.
• Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying alternatives.
• Present quotations and proposals to stakeholders.
