Job summary

A leading IT services provider in Dubai is looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to create complex PL/SQL packages, manage ETL processes with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and develop OBIEE dashboards based on business requirements. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong PL/SQL and SQL skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The position requires commitment to work 6 days a week, with great communication and teamwork skills being essential.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop complex and optimized PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers and functions to support business logic and data transformation needs.
• Analyze design and implement relational data models to support application and reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Design and develop OBIEE dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Perform installation, configuration and administration of ETL and BI tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PL/SQL code issues, database performance bottlenecks and integration errors.
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing data solutions.

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands‑on experience in PL/SQL development.
• Proficient in writing efficient, scalable SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures/functions.
• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, both logical and physical.
• Experience in OBIEE development and administration.
• Skilled in ETL and BI tools installation, configuration, and tuning.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills in production environments.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Should be available to work 6 days a week (Sunday–Friday).
