Job summary

A prominent engineering firm is seeking a Planner to support the maintenance of critical equipment at a refining facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will prepare and develop preventive maintenance plans, ensure resource availability, and coordinate with various stakeholders to uphold operational efficiency. Qualified applicants should possess a diploma in engineering, at least 5 years of planning experience, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of relevant software such as SAP and CMMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in planning and scheduling.
• Age between 25 to 50 years.
• Good knowledge in using Computer and ability in activity scheduling.

• Proficient in using Computer tools; familiar with MS Office; CMMS systems (Maximo, SAP) and possibly MS Project & Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly routine and preventive maintenance plans.
• Ensure proper resource planning and sourcing for maintenance activities.
• Analyze operational and maintenance issues related to equipment.
• Liaise with Divisions in meetings to develop maintenance plans and provide technical inputs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure maintenance personnel, materials, parts, tools and equipment are available.
• Prepare and maintain statistical maintenance and technical reports relating to routine and preventive maintenance activities.
• Responsible for day-to-day planning and reporting; scheduling including resource loading in CMMS.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplines for routine planning and shutdown jobs.

Overview

Title: Planner

Division: KBR is looking for a Planner to support the maintenance of crude flexibility project critical equipment at Adnoc Refining Ruwais Abu Dhabi

Summary

Prepare and develop preventive corrective and predictive maintenance plans on a weekly/ monthly basis covering mechanical electrical instrument and general services maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly routine and preventive maintenance plans and all related activities.
• Ensure proper resource planning and sourcing for the implementation and completion of planned maintenance plans and activities as per schedule.
• Analyze and record critical operational and maintenance issues related to equipment plants and utilities availability.
• Liaise and participate in various meetings and analyses with other Divisions regarding developing maintenance plans and schedules and provide technical inputs and recommendations as required.
• Coordinate with CE Division to evaluate progress against plan and conduct technical studies to identify and recommend new practices for developing planning and implementation activities.
• Coordinate with all applicable Stakeholders to ensure that maintenance personnel materials spare parts tools and equipment are available and ready to perform the job.
• Prepare and maintain statistical maintenance and technical reports relating routine and preventive maintenance activities
• Responsible to day-to-day Planning and generate reports as and when needed.
• Responsible to day-to-day Job planning & Scheduling including resource identifying & loading in CMMS.
• Coordination with multi disciplines for routine planning & shutdown jobs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Respective Engineering or Equivalent (preferably).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in planning and scheduling. Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
• Excellent English communication verbal & written.
• Age between 25 to 50 yrs.
• Must possess a good knowledge in using Computer and good ability in activity scheduling. Familiar with MS Office CMMS System i.e. Maximo SAP etc. MS project & Primavera knowledge is an added advantage
