Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience, with at least 2 years as a Phlebotomist in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients for various testing and donation purposes.
• Support overall laboratory services with specimen collection and preparation for analysis.
• Perform routine and complex blood collecting procedures.

Skills

Governance and accreditation standards relevant to laboratory services

Health Information systems

Verbal and written communication skills in English

Education

Bachelor's degree in Science or Laboratory Medicine Technology

Certified as a Phlebotomist

Current Basic Life Support certificate
