Job Title: Permit Issuer / Permit Holder

Location: Abu Dhabi (Oil & Gas Construction Site)

Duration: Long-term 2 years (extendable)

Nationality: Any

Gender: Male

Age Limit: 2738 years (flexible for strong profiles)

Joining Ticket / Visa / Accommodation / Transportation / Kitchen Facility: Provided by company (facilities applicable for Western Region sites only)

Working Hours: 10 hrs/day 6 days/week

Role Summary

Responsible for the proper execution of the Permit to Work system ensuring that all high-risk activities are carried out safely and in compliance with site HSE regulations. The role involves issuing managing and closing work permits for activities such as Hot Work, Working at Height, Confined Space entry and Electrical Isolation.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and verify work permits in line with safety regulations.
• Ensure scope timeframe and control measures are strictly followed.
• Enforce compliance with HSE procedures and stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Attend pre-job meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Coordinate with supervisors, safety officers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain environmental protection and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or higher in Safety, Petrochemical, Mechanical, Electrical or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work systems in oil & gas construction.
• Experience in Hot Work, Working at Height, Confined Space permits is an advantage.
• Strong hazard identification, coordination and communication skills.
• Relevant safety certifications preferred.
