Job Title: Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and a thorough understanding of payroll regulations and best practices. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee payments, maintaining payroll records, and providing support to the HR department.

Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for a large number of employees, including calculating wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with year-end processes and reporting, including W-2s and 1099s.
  • Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Continuously review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
