Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Calling Support. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting patients via phone calls, emails, and chat to facilitate their appointment scheduling and rescheduling needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments over the phone, via email, and through chat services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain patient records and appointment schedules in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, as needed.
  • Educate patients on appointment procedures, required documentation, and any pre-appointment instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and data protection regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in US-based customer support, patient support, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
