We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurses to join a prestigious and internationally accredited healthcare institution in Dubai. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety, comfort, and swift recovery in a fast-paced and state-of-the-art setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to post-operative patients in the recovery unit.
  • Monitor vital signs and consciousness levels following anesthesia and surgery.
  • Assess patients for pain, nausea, or other post-surgical complications and intervene appropriately.
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families during recovery.
  • Adhere to international best practices and infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Western-accredited institution (e.g., UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience in a hospital setting.
  • Eligible for or in possession of a DHA license or eligibility letter.
  • BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory.
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.
  • Culturally sensitive, patient-focused, and collaborative.
  • Willing to work in Dubai.
