Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Planning Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for power plants. This role includes cost control, manpower estimation, and risk management, ensuring timely execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience in planning within the energy sector, particularly in the UAE. Proficiency in MS Projects and Primavera is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control, preferably in power plants.
• Proficient in MS Projects, Primavera, and MS Office; strong knowledge of costing and estimation.
• Experience in outage planning, manpower estimation, and coordination with site teams is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules aligned with project objectives.
• Monitor daily progress and coordinate with site teams to resolve delays.
• Prepare and manage outage plans in coordination with the Project Manager.
