Job Title: Operator - Granulation

Position Summary
The Operator - Granulation will be responsible for performing granulation processes in compliance with cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and UAE regulatory requirements. The role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining granulation equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The operator will report directly to the Executive - Tablet and Liquid Manufacturing and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate granulation equipment, including high‑shear mixers, fluid bed dryers, and mills, according to production schedules and approved protocols.
- Accurately follow batch manufacturing records (BMR) and SOPs during granulation processes.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP, WHO, US FDA, EMA, and UAE Ministry of Health guidelines during all operations.
- Perform in‑process quality checks, including granule size, moisture content, and blending uniformity, to meet product specifications.
- Collaborate with the QA team to address deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Perform routine cleaning, setup, and maintenance of granulation equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions and assist the engineering team in troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate production logs, equipment usage records, and BMRs.
- Assist in preparing reports for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Identify opportunities to improve granulation efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Support process validation and scale‑up activities as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and implement best practices.
Candidate Specification
Experience + Exposure + Education
- Diploma or certification in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in granulation within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a cGMP‑compliant facility.

- In-depth knowledge of granulation processes, equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (UAE Ministry of Health, WHO, US FDA, EMA).
- Strong technical and operational skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
