Job description

Our client seeks an Operations Manager for an immediate start who will be responsible for the delivery of various high end interior fit out and design work. Experience in High Rise and Hotels is particularly desirable.

Responsibilities

Working across multiple projects the Operations Manager will take direct responsibility for delivery to the business’ high standards across their assigned interiors projects. You will have solid construction knowledge with at least a partial background in commercial fit out. This role encompasses the full spectrum of internal and external contacts, so you will need to be a good relationship builder used to dealing with clients, supply chain and company staff. You will be responsible for the health and safety on your projects, adherence to company processes, final quality and all the other associated aspects of successful project delivery.

Qualifications
  • 10 years experience as Operation Manager / Senior Project Manager for a commercial builder.
  • A track record of undergoing fitout projects of at least $5M in value
  • 15-20 years total experience preferably in Interiors
  • Experience working for leading Interiors business or 2nd tier building companies on fit out projects
  • Good D&C knowledge is a benefit
  • Good knowledge of the GCC market including sub contractors.
  • Ability to communicate with peers, sub contractors and clients
  • You should have plenty of initiative and be goal-oriented keen to work as a team and have the drive to get the things done.
  • Ambitious for career development and progression.
