Job summary

A leading HR consulting firm in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Human Resources Officer. The candidate will manage payroll and HR for expatriate employees in the oil and gas sector, ensuring compliance with international labor laws. Responsibilities include payroll processing, visa management, and maintaining employee records. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Salary is AED 9,000 to 11,000 per month based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of HR and payroll experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven experience handling payroll for 100 expatriate staff across different countries.
  • Strong knowledge of visa regulations and labor laws in the MENA region and Europe.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (Portuguese, Arabic, French, etc.) are a plus.

About the Role

Apt Resources is currently seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Payroll and Human Resources Officer to manage comprehensive HR and payroll functions, particularly for a large number of expatriate employees in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling payroll, visa processes and employee documentation across the MENA region, Europe, and other international locations as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage payroll for a high volume of expatriate employees ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws.
  • Administer end‑to‑end visa processing, residency permits and work authorizations across multiple jurisdictions (MENA, Europe and others depending on the client’s requirements).
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with international labor laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies regarding employee onboarding, benefits and mobility.
  • Support audits, internal reviews and HR reporting.
  • Manage employee queries related to payroll, benefits and HR policies.
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation for global HR practices.
