Job description

• Work towards achieving a defined set of annual deliverables as approved by UAE University (UAEU).
• Provide technical advice on all relevant health and safety issues to colleges and departments.
• Support UAEU in ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory health and safety obligations.
• Assist departments in conducting risk assessments developing appropriate policies and procedures and implementing effective control measures.
• Perform periodic health and safety inspections in line with relevant legislation and UAEU policies.
• Act as a liaison between the university and local authorities on health and safety matters including compliance with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code.

Qualifications
