In This Role You Will
  • Practice nurse
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Independently run basic primary health clinics: administer medications, vaccines, dressings, blood collections, treatments as prescribed by the doctor and monitor patient responses.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations.
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies, performing first aid and basic life support as needed.
  • Maintain current certifications in CPR and emergency response protocols. Engage in regular training and professional development to stay current with healthcare trends and practices.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough wound assessments to determine appropriate treatment/dressings in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments for paediatric patients including physical examinations and immunisations administration. Collaborate with parents to gather medical history and assess health concerns.
  • Occmed/Avmed nurse
  • Conduct pre‑employment and periodic health evaluations for aviation and engineering personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform assessments of physical fitness, mental health, and overall well‑being, documenting findings accurately.
  • Work closely with management, safety officers, and other healthcare professionals to address health concerns and promote a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding health programs, policies, and any health‑related concerns.
  • Conduct routine medicals for employees who require airside driving licencing.
  • Perform health surveillance for employees who may be exposed to hazards in the workplace.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patients assessments and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the doctor and monitor patient responses.
  • Emergency response nurse
  • Provide rapid assessment and intervention for patients experiencing medical emergencies or trauma situations.
  • Collaborate with emergency response teams to deliver essential nursing care to patients, prior to their transfer for more advanced treatment.
  • Conduct health assessments, administer vaccinations, perform health screenings, and manage chronic conditions in a practice setting.
  • Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate care for patients in both emergency and routine contexts.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Educate employees on first aid, CPR, emergency response protocols, and general health promotion strategies.
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals, emergency services, to ensure coordinated responses to emergencies and effective patient care.
  • Ensure all emergency medical equipment and supplies are properly stocked, maintained, and readily available for deployment.
  • Participate in health campaigns, outreach programs, and wellness initiatives to promote health and safety awareness within the community.
Qualification

To be considered for this role you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • BLS
  • Experience in nursing
  • Practice Nurse: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience/ with Minimum of 2 years primary health care nurse and or emergency care nurse.
  • Avmed/Occmed Nurse: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience/ with Minimum of 2 years aviation medication/occupational health/emergency nursing
  • Emergency Response nurse: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience/ with Minimum of 2 years field emergency response nursing.
Knowledge/skills

You will have an edge if you have:

  • Certification in ACLS desirable
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of first response procedures and routine healthcare practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high‑pressure situations.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of health promotion and education for diverse patient populations
