Job description

Night Shift Supervisor - Oil and Gas

Salary : 5954 AED

Rotation : 60/30

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all activities on the night shift including production maintenance and safety
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulations
• Coordinate with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
• Train and mentor new employees and provide ongoing support and guidance to the night shift team
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of production maintenance and safety activities
• Communicate and collaborate with other shifts to ensure continuity and consistency in operations
• Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on night shift operations and performance
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas operations equipment and safety protocols
• Excellent leadership and communication skillsProven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve goals and targets
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as needed
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Higher secondary diploma or equivalent with a degree or certification in a related field preferred
