Job Purpose

At Emirates Group, we connect the world through our global hub in Dubai, ensuring our customers always ‘Fly Better.’ As one of the most recognised and admired brands globally, we’re driven by innovation and excellence. Join us as a National Talent Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation by driving people strategies that empower our global workforce. Experience a fast‑paced, multicultural environment where your expertise in human resources will contribute to building a world‑class employee experience while advancing your own career on a global stage.

As the National Talent Manager, you will lead the career enablement strategy for UAE Nationals (UAEN) within the assigned division, ensuring alignment with the Emiratisation strategy, supporting smooth transitions post‑training, and driving engagement and retention of established UAEN employees. You will partner closely with the Emiratisation team, HR Business Partners, Learning & Talent, and business leaders to champion UAEN career progression and contribute to programmes that support their growth and development.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as the bridge between the Emiratisation strategy team and the business, translating strategy into actionable career enablement support for UAEN employees across all functions.
  • Oversee and ensure smooth transitions of trainees into full‑time roles, providing ongoing career advocacy and guidance to support their long‑term progression and retention within the organisation.
  • Maintain career profiles for all UAENs to enable proactive career support and internal mobility, working with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Learning & Talent (L&T) to provide relevant insights into broader career growth, mobility, and talent planning processes.
  • Provide data‑driven insights on UAEN career progression, engagement, retention risk signals, and advocacy feedback to Emiratisation, L&T, HRBPs, and HR COEs to inform priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with L&T, Recruitment, HRBPs, and other HR COEs to translate UAEN career needs into targeted capability‑building programmes.
  • Build strong relationships with line managers and business leaders to champion UAEN talent. Partner with Learning & Talent, HRBPs, and other relevant HR COEs to support career progression, identify development needs, and enable internal career opportunities through targeted capability building.
  • Lead, coach, and support National Talent Partners to deliver high‑impact, tailored career enablement support to their UAEN portfolios.
Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Human Resources experience with a specialism in talent management, career counselling, or a similar area, preferably within a GCC environment or an international company with a workforce comprising both expatriate and local employees.

You will have an edge if you have:

  • Knowledge of the UAE Emiratisation agenda.
  • Experience designing and delivering people initiatives within an organisation, or having been part of a team that has done so; examples include mentoring programmes, coaching and counselling programmes, or succession planning processes.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully delivering HR change programmes, using highly developed influencing skills.
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior line management.

At Emirates, we’re committed to providing our employees with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers. So, if you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, apply today and join our team.
