Merchandiser Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Ajman. In this position, you will assist the merchandising team in planning, sourcing, and managing products for our retail stores. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion and retail to gain hands-on experience in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in researching and identifying new product trends and opportunities
  • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices, place orders, and manage product deliveries
  • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create attractive displays that showcase our products
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking as needed
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure products are displayed correctly and shelves are fully stocked
  • Assist in analyzing sales data to track product performance and make recommendations for improvement
  • Help maintain accurate records of product information, including pricing and specifications
  • Provide support to the merchandising team as needed, including attending trade shows and preparing reports
Requirements
  • Must be Egyptian nationality with a valid biometric passport
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in fashion merchandising or related field preferred
  • Fluent in Arabic; basic English skills preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in a retail or merchandising role is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to live on-site in provided accommodation
