Mechanical Engineer – Musaffah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Musaffah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Salary: 1600 AED. We are open to considering applicants from abroad.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and evaluate mechanical components or systems for industrial machinery, consumer products or other applications.
• Analyze data from tests or field measurements to determine design modifications as needed.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications to document the results of new designs or modifications.
• Monitor and inspect the quality of manufactured parts, assemblies or systems to verify conformance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with other engineering personnel on design projects.
• Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering contracts or projects.
• Conduct research into the feasibility, cost, performance and safety of proposed mechanical designs or applications.
• Maintain current knowledge of engineering technology through continuing education activities such as attending professional seminars or conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred; Professional Certification (e.g., PE) is a plus.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering roles for 3+ years; experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to use CAD software to create 2D/3D models of mechanical components/systems.
• Excellent knowledge of physics principles pertaining to motion, heat transfer and stress analysis; understanding of electrical principles is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
