This role is pivotal in optimizing inventory and ensuring collaboration across Procurement, Production, and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of experience in Material Planning or Supply Chain Analytics, along with advanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Material Management Analyst to manage end-to-end material flow from Sales Order validation to Purchase Order processing ensuring material availability optimized inventory and smooth coordination across Procurement Production and Sales. This role plays a critical part in maintaining business continuity cost efficiency and delivery reliability. It represents an evolved version of the Material Planner role shifting from daily operational tasks to strategic process improvement and data-driven material management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate and process all Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to initiate timely procurement.
  • Manage inventory and replenishment plans to prevent stockouts.
  • Review and update safety stock levels quarterly based on business trends.
  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with forecast tracking and material availability planning.
  • Reduce un-used stock through data-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Sales and Production teams to ensure smooth order flow.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset - a smart data-driven thinker with high ownership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Power Query and Power BI proficiency for data analysis and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of SAP MM (Material Management) and understanding of MRP logic.
  • Clear understanding of safety stock management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to accuracy and timelines.

  • 36 years of experience in Material Planning Inventory Management or Supply Chain Analytics.
