Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Access Control Manager to join the resort’s Security team.

Responsibilities

• Effectively exercise independent decision making, as a subject matter expert under stress.
• Perform regular reviews of existing practices and conditions, identifying gaps against best practices.
• Research and recommend modern technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive policies and procedures for operations, and implementation processes.
• Establish strategic objectives and supporting key performance indicators for operations team.
• Design and implement supporting forms using modern methods to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Create workforce and equipment schedules that optimize performance and resource allocation.
• Maintain strong relationships with government emergency services and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain an awareness of applicable regulation and ensure compliance.
• Update access control system parameters to align with security policies and operational requirements.
• Configure and manage access permissions, assigning clearance levels based on personnel roles.
• Oversee user credentialing by accurately registering, authenticating, and deactivating users as needed.
• Verify identity and authorization before programming and issuing access passes to users and visitors.
• Monitor and review access logs for unusual activity, escalating concerns when appropriate.
• Conduct periodic audits, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in security, information security or cyber security.
• SC-300 Identity and Access Manager Certificate or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in access control systems administration
• Minimum 2 years' experience working on Genetec or Salto Access Control Systems
• Strong leadership, effective management and good communication skills.
• Self-starter possessing strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident interacting with executive leaders.
• Detailed oriented and ability to deliver quality products on schedule.
