Job summary

A leading energy company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for performing maintenance activities according to O&M procedures. The ideal candidate should hold a technical certificate in mechanical maintenance and have experience in CSP technologies. Preference is given to UAE nationals with a family book. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, among other responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CSP Technologies is preferable.
• UAE/Emirati with FAMILY BOOK is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Maintenance activities in accordance with O&M procedures and HSE guidelines.
• Ensure equipment is safely isolated before starting work activity.
• Execute maintenance tasks and prepare work permits in ENGICA.
• Check notifications and work orders in SAP.
• Carry out preventive, corrective, predictive, and precision maintenance activities.
• Perform housekeeping after each intervention.
• Inspect maintenance tools as required.

Overview

Maintenance Technician

Responsible for performing Maintenance activities, among others, in accordance with O&M procedures and HSE guidelines and in coordination and following instructions from Maintenance Engineers ( Elec, Mech, I&C).

Operation and Maintenance

• Responsible to ensure that the equipment is safely isolated in coordination with their engineer, shift charge supervisor and control room operators before starting the work activity and remain part of the risk assessment while performing work on de-energized or energized/live systems.
• Responsible for maintenance tasks execution.
• Prepare permit work in ENGICA (JHA, supplementary permits: WAH, HOT work, …etc).
• Check notifications and work order in SAP.
• Responsible for carrying out the preventive, corrective, predictive and precision maintenance activities for all plants (under the direction of Maintenance Engineers).
• Perform housekeeping after each intervention (5S).
• Inspect Maintenance tools as per requirement (Under Maintenance Engineer direction).

Minimum Qualifications

• A technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance.
• Proven experience in CSP Technologies is preferable (Solar field Operator)
• UAE/Emirati with FAMILY BOOK is preferred
