As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations and ensure our properties remain in top condition.

The Role: Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency of our apartments by overseeing maintenance activities, conducting preventive maintenance programs, and leading the engineering team. This role is essential in ensuring that our properties meet SmartStay's high-quality standards, providing guests with a seamless and comfortable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely response to technical issues
• Conduct routine inspections of apartments to identify, document, and resolve maintenance concerns
• Oversee the execution of Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimize breakdowns and prolong asset life
• Manage emergency repairs efficiently to minimize guest inconvenience
• Collaborate with the housekeeping and guest relations teams to address maintenance requests and ensure guest satisfaction
• Source and coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies, ensuring cost-effective procurement
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, including proper handling of equipment and chemicals
• Train and mentor the maintenance team to enhance performance and technical knowledge
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new maintenance staff
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory or engineering role within hospitality, real estate, or facilities management
• A valid UAE driving license is required
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems
• Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting equipment failures
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and train a team effectively
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and mobile applications for reporting and task scheduling
• Familiarity with systems like Breezeway, Monday.com, Hostaway is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to maintenance issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs
