A leading FMCG business in the Gulf region is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager to oversee engineering processes in Dubai. This role involves managing standardization, implementing best practices, and improving process efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 4-5 years of leadership experience, and fluency in English, with knowledge of Arabic and French as a bonus.

Qualifications

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the most successful and highly established FMCG businesses in the Gulf region. The business is currently looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their dynamic team in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Manage the standardization of the maintenance engineering throughout the sub-region of MEA in coordination with the Regional Operations Team
• Implement best practice maintenance engineering processes/standards across the region
• Liaise with the Lean Enterprise to drive improvements in the engineering process
• Oversee the management of improvement projects to reduce costs and increase the process efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering; MBA would be an advantage
• Minimum of 4-5 years of engineering experience within a leadership position
• Strong command of MS Office; experience in six sigma projects would be an advantage
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic and French would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership ability
• Must be flexible to travel
