Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Design Engineer for a switchgear manufacturing plant in Dubai, UAE. This role involves preparing engineering designs, developing BOMs, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in LV switchgear design, with proficiency in E-Plan software. Candidates must also have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a strong knowledge of wiring design and electrical standards.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the design of LV switchgear panels.
• Strong knowledge of control and power wiring design and applications.
• Good knowledge of international and local electrical standards (IEC, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs and technical submittals for LV switchgear panels.
• Design control and power wiring schematics for Power Panels & MCCs.
• Develop software-oriented drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Prepare compliance statements against project specifications.
• Coordinate with the Production team to support manufacturing requirements.
