Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors for shipment dates.

• Facilitate communication between suppliers and accounts.
• Process invoices with the cargo team.
• Expedite shipments to multiple outstations.

Job description

Synopsis

Responsible for Inbound and Outbound Logistics operation to support International Imports and Exports and Local delivery expediting to get delivery on time to avoid out of stock situation and overstock situation in Etihad Distribution Center. Also support Etihad Airways Group End users with any support on Logistics regarding non-stock assets movement (Imports and Exports).

Accountabilities

• 1. Co-ordinate with Local and Overseas Vendors for Shipment ready dates in accordance with Need by Dates as per PO.
• 2. Co-ordinate with Warehouse / Inventory planning for stock requirement and expedite shipment accordingly for replenishment in time to avoid nil stock situations.
• 3. Monitor Shipment Departures and Arrivals as per Shipping Mode advised to supplier.
• 4. Monitor on time receipt of Original Documents from Suppliers in accordance to Customs regulations.
• 5. Coordinate between Clearing Agent and Warehouse for on time delivery of Shipments.
• 6. Liaise between Supplier – Buyer – Accounts in case of Invoice/GRN disparity.
• 7. Check and Process Forwarder / Clearing Agent Invoices to Accounts / COMAT Booking and authorization in coordination with Cargo team for inbound Air Shipment.
• 8. Co-ordinate with Warehouse / End-User for stock requirement and expedite shipment to approximately +30 EY Outstations every month for replenishment in time to avoid nil stock situations.
• 9. Arranging shipments for various Projects and Marketing Department.
• 10. To coordinate between OSS Catering, Clearing Agent for on time delivery of Shipments.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline preferably International Logistics and, working experience in ERP (SAP-Transportation module) System as specific.
• Minimum 5 year experience in Large Organization as International Logistics Officer.
• Excellent communication skills to deal with suppliers across the globe.
• Negotiation skills and experience in dealing with negotiating SPOT with freight forwarders.
• Pro-active individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment.
