Position Summary

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting logistics operations to enhance NCR’s field services and large customer accounts. This role focuses on data‑driven decision‑making, inventory analysis, order administration, reverse logistics, replenishment planning, financial reconciliation, and performance reporting. The analyst ensures compliance with global standards while improving service levels, asset utilization, and inventory investment.

The role involves close collaboration with Worldwide Service Logistics and Customer Services teams to design, implement, and monitor logistics programs and processes. Key activities include performing quantitative analysis, generating insights, and supporting operational and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Perform quantitative analysis on inventory, replenishment, and logistics performance.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports, including Scorecards, Financial Outlook Tracker, Freight Tracker, Parts Usage Reports.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve service levels and reduce costs.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
  • Validate international shipments against commercial invoices and ensure timely dock‑to‑stock activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and bin location mapping in CIMS.
  • Monitor discrepancies and coordinate resolution with Distribution Centers.
Order Administration & Planning
  • Analyze PC3 reports and load recommendations into CIMS.
  • Validate and reconcile data across systems, escalating unresolved issues.
  • Estimate investment costs and initiate procurement for unavailable parts.
Replenishment & Reverse Logistics
  • Analyze stock levels and generate replenishment transactions for Customer Engineers (CEs) and Forward Stocking Locations (FSLs).
  • Track defective part returns and ensure accurate postings in CIMS.
  • Identify excess stock and recommend adjustments to minimize unnecessary purchases.
Performance Monitoring
  • Track in‑transit shipments and escalate delays.
  • Monitor backorders and substitute parts availability.
  • Conduct LOCA (Lack of Coverage Area) analysis and coordinate urgent shipments.
Financial Reconciliation
  • Compare backorder and credit note data with General Ledger values.
  • Identify mismatches and elevate issues to the country logistics manager.
Audit & Compliance
  • Support inventory audits and reconcile results with global platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with technical stock reviews and re‑planning processes.
