Librarian - Full Time (Indian Nationals)


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position specifically open to Indian nationals who are proficient in English and have the necessary qualifications and experience for the role.

As a Librarian, your main responsibility will be to oversee the daily operations of our library, ensuring that it is organized and maintained according to industry standards. You will also be responsible for managing our collection of books, periodicals, and other materials, as well as assisting patrons with finding and accessing resources.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of library systems and processes is essential. Additionally, proficiency in English is required as you will be interacting with English-speaking patrons on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including opening and closing procedures
- Organize and maintain all library materials according to cataloging standards
- Assist patrons with locating and accessing resources
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Acquire new materials through purchasing or donations
- Keep accurate records of library transactions and inventory
- Collaborate with other staff members on library-related projects

Requirements:
